New Wired Pushbuttons Provide Added Benefits

Hartford, Wis., Feb. 7, 2007 – The new Junction Box Transformer, exclusive and unique to NuTone, saves time and materials, making installation easier for builders, according to Patrick Nielsen, senior product manager, chimes and accessories.

 “Our patented junction box transformer door chime is a time-saving, innovative builder kit ideal for new construction and is the only product of its kind that meets UL and local electrical codes for a transformer in a standard single gang junction box,” says Nielsen.

The Junction Box Transformer saves on installation time by eliminating the need to run one wire from the transformer, typically installed in the basement or garage, to the chime mechanism. Instead, the transformer is attached to the junction box and the chime mechanism attaches to the metal plate and hangs in a central hallway or entryway.

Featuring an updated curve design and an improved feel and function, the new Wired Pushbuttons are the perfect complement for any wired chime from NuTone. Four finishes are available, including white, polished brass, satin nickel and black.
